Illenium (Mar 2022)
This project was not a commission from Illenium nor is it associated with him or his brand - I just like his music and his fire/Phoenix branding.
I wanted to make something more VFX heavy. This is all made in After Effects (no paid plugins).

The nerdy stuff:
The fire is made using frac noise within a displacement map.
Some free tools that really helped me out:
Displacer Pro by plugineverything - used to make the displacement on the background
VC color vibrance - Used to turn a grayscale burning logo into a natural looking fire colour
Saber - Used to make the turbulent strokes at the start
